Chelsea Brewing Company, located at Pier 59 on Chelsea Piers, just over a mile from OfficeLinks’ Chelsea office, is Manhattan’s largest and only active brewery.  They invite you to come take a peek at their brewing processes with a tour of their site, which features a copper-and-brass 30-barrel brewhouse, six 60-barrel unitanks, four 30-barrel unitanks, two 60-barrel bright beer tanks, six 15-barrel servers, a fully automatic grain-handling system, an automated bottling system and a kegging system.

The tour is free – and so are samples along the way. You’ll also get some tickets for discounted pints after the tour – that way you can keep tasting Chelsea’s own brews at the brewery’s bar and restaurant, which overlooks the Hudson River. Tours start at 2 pm every Saturday and continue on the hour through 6 pm.  No reservation is necessary.  They just recommend giving them a call at (212) 336-6440 to confirm tours are being given the day you are coming.
