What do you get when the tallest building in North America teams up with the nation’s #1 rehabilitation hospital? A fundraiser for patient care that you can be proud to be a part of! OfficeLinks invites you to join in the initiative, along with the Willis Tower, formerly the Sears Tower, and the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC) in SkyRise Chicago. At the November 15th fundraiser, you can run, jog or walk to the top of the Willis Tower – the tallest stair climb in North America with 2,109 steps –to support RIC programs. Stationary hand-cycles will also be provided – or you can bring your own – for those who are looking to challenge themselves by hand-cycling their way “up” 103 floors! You can also create your own fundraiser to benefit RIC to help them continue to lead the field and their patients into a very bright future. OfficeLinks would be delighted to provide a donation to the cause for any OfficeLinks client who participates. Contact Lori of the OfficeLinks Willis Tower Team for details at (312) 962-7400 and let OfficeLinks help support it’s clients and the cause!

According to Volunteering in America 2009, the most comprehensive volunteer trends and demographics report, 61.8 million Americans volunteered in 2008 and dedicated more than 8 billion hours of service…what are you going to do to beat that in 2009?
